First Chargé d’Affaires

Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, proudly representing Central City.

Graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Early retiree of the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services. Currently employed by the Jefferson Parish Department of Juvenile Services. Also serves as a Funeral Director’s Assistant with the Rhodes Family of Businesses and an assistant floral designer at Pam Ott’s Elegance by Design Floral Shoppe. Owner and operator of Elegant Affairs, an event planning company.

One Word That Describes Antonio: Selfless

He is known for being social, friendly, and always the one to light up a room. Antonio is a life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., a member of Alexander #232 Lodge of Prince Hall Masons, and a member of the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club. Active member of the Sixth B.C. and serves on the Board of the Community Commitment Educational Center. Passionate about service, mentorship, and curating elegant experiences through events and floral design.

Second Chargé d’Affaires

Derrick D. Domengeaux, Sr. is a proud native of New Orleans, Louisiana, and a graduate of Marion Abramson High School, Class of 1994. In the spring of 1995, he enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served five years as a high-voltage generator mechanic and electrician.

Over the years, Derrick has built a distinguished career rooted in technical excellence and leadership. In 2012, he earned several key certifications, including Project Management, Facility Management, 1st Class HVAC, and 2nd Class Boiler. With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Derrick currently thrives as a hospitality executive, known for his hands-on leadership and commitment to mentoring others in mechanical trades and leadership development.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Derrick is passionate about travel, enjoys unique bourbons and premium cigars, and loves spending time with his fiancée and close friends—especially with his beloved crew, The Porch Krewe.

King’s Attendant

Breland Williams is a King’s Attendant by way of Kenner, LA. He is a graduate of Grace King High School in Metairie, Louisiana, and received his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Southeastern Louisiana University.

Breland is said to be unpredictable. He is sometimes calm, and then in the blink of an eye, you can see him being the life of the party. Put on some Lil Boosie and watch him wild out.

Breland currently works in Treasury Services at Hancock Whitney. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.. He has been part of various boards, including the Audubon Nature Institute Scales and Ales Host Committee, the LHSAA Women’s Sweet 16 Host Committee, and the CoHort of Magellan Program at Capital One, among others.

King’s Attendant

Dr. Collins is from New Iberia, Louisiana, and currently resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

He is a proud two-time graduate of Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, as well as a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Marriage and Family Therapy.

A word to describe Dr. Collins is diligent, and he is insightful—there’s rarely a topic that is foreign to him.

He is a member of the American Counseling Association, the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and the Louisiana Counselors Association. Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) with the Louisiana Professional Counselors Board of Examiners and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) with the National Board of Certified Counselors. With 17 years of experience in the mental health field, Jarred has served a diverse range of clients, from ages 5 to 90. For the past 8 years, he has worked as a Readjustment Counselor within Veterans Affairs.

His life’s passion is helping people become the best version of themselves so they can live joyful, fulfilling lives.

🚛 Career: Retired after 43 years of dedicated service with United Parcel Service, including 23 years as an over-the-road driver.

🎶 Signature move: Bobbing his head to the beat of good music—always in rhythm, always in his element.

📿 Affiliations: Proud member of Franklin Avenue Baptist Church, where he serves in both the FABC Greeters Ministry and the Marriage Ministry. A dedicated member of the Porch Krewe. Passionate about golf, attending sporting events, enjoying live music, and spending quality time with family and friends. Finds joy traveling the world alongside his beautiful wife, Lisa Marie.

Joseph F. Lilly, Jr. is a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and a proud United States Marine Corps combat veteran. Enlisting in 1987, he served five years as an Avionics Technician, including deployment during Desert Storm, before receiving an honorable discharge in 1991. Now residing in New Orleans, Louisiana, Joseph carries forward the discipline, resilience, and leadership instilled during his military service into every aspect of his life and career—qualities that have guided his lifelong commitment to public service.
 
Following his military career, Joseph transitioned into federal service with the Department of the Treasury (IRS), where he has devoted more than 20 years as an I.T. Professional. His educational achievements include a B.S. in Cybersecurity and a Master’s in Project Management from Capella University. Throughout his career, Joseph has developed expertise in incident management, cybersecurity compliance, and public accountability. He is recognized for his ability to lead teams through high-pressure outages, restore critical services, and foster collaboration between technical experts and leadership.
 
Beyond technical leadership, Joseph is passionate about building strong relationships, encouraging teamwork, and achieving results that align with organizational goals. His guiding motto, “Enjoying Everyday Life,” reflects his ability to balance professional excellence with a positive, people-first approach. If one word could capture Joseph’s essence, it would be: “COOL.”

Hometown / Where You Represent: Proudly representing Indianola, Mississippi.

Education / Training / Background: A double Harvard graduate (MD & PhD in
Neurobiology), Dr. Ware also holds a Master of Medical Management from Tulane. He
completed his neurosurgery residency at UCSF and fellowship training in skull base surgery at
UAMS.

Professional/Social Affiliations: Dr. Ware is Associate Medical Director of Surgical Services at
Ochsner West Bank and Medical Director of Neurosurgical Oncology, leading innovative
treatment programs in the Gulf South. Outside the OR, he’s an advocate, mentor, fraternity man
(Alpha Phi Alpha), and longtime community leader — blending excellence and service with humility and authenticity.

Representing the vibrant city of Atlanta, Georgia, Aki Smith brings his trademark loyal spirit and sarcastic Southern charm to this year’s Court. After leaving his hometown of Atlanta, Aki went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps before launching a successful career as a federal contractor. With over 14 years of experience specializing in emergency and disaster response, he’s no stranger to high-pressure situations—and thrives on making a difference when it matters most.

Known for keeping things light with a quick wit and easygoing presence, Aki is equally passionate about service, community, and connection. When he’s not managing response efforts or mentoring others in his field, you’ll likely find him traveling, cheering on his favorite football teams, or spending quality time with his close-knit circle of family and friends.

As a member of the 2025 Court, Aki is proud to represent not only his hometown, but also the values of resilience, camaraderie, and leadership that have shaped his journey.
